Kindred Spirits and Ripple Makers
Transcript of the introduction here:
Beautiful hearts all around tonight! This is a lovely inception of something new and precious. Kindred spirits, kindred spirits! Where does this phrase come from? Sometimes you meet someone for the first time, yet you feel like you have known them forever. Why? Because your hearts have a similar beat, your lives have a similar fragrance, a lovely fragrance. Have you ever smelled someone wearing the perfume of your beloved grandmother? You felt an immediate sense of comfort and affinity for that one because the fragrance reminded you of being loved, comforted and treasured. A kindred spirit is sweet that way. Those with pure, loving hearts, innocence restored, not jaded by life experience…not that you have escaped troubles by any means, but you have chosen to press on in love.
Yes, you are the Pollyannas, the ones wearing rose-colored glasses. Please, please, do not stop! Your perspective and your fragrance are needed and they are effective. They are transformative for the people in your life, for those you live with, work with, for everyone that comes within your physical proximity. Your fragrance, your perspective brings the possibility of transformation for those who are lonely, hopeless, despairing or simply unaware, sleepwalking through life. And so we are glad to be here. We are here to serve you and to really encourage you, to give you a boost, a lift, to be a wind under your wings for this night and this time and this season for the coming days ahead of you, that you would feel refreshed and renewed in your vision, your purpose, what it is that you are here to do, which is unlike the one beside you to the left and the right, your purpose being completely unique to you.
So welcome, kindred spirits. Be renewed and refreshed at this time and surrounded with peace. Not just surrounded with peace, but may each cell of your mind-body be saturated with stillness and harmony that you can watch all manner of shenanigans and houlighans around you and yet somehow be unmoved, ineffable, undisturbed.
We hereby give you permission to not care. We do not mean in a callous way, a dispassionate way, but everyone is burdened by problems and issues, and if they solve one, another will appear, you can count on that. So it is okay to not care or care less about some things. In other words, not a cold carelessness, but a loving detachment, because it is your love and your vibration of high frequency, your centeredness, your undisturbedness, that begins to ripple out and change people and circumstances around you. And if you vibrate to their frequency, Oh! That is too bad. Because it is not what they need, my dears. They do not need you to vibrate to their anxiety, fear, stress, worry, sadness, anger. No! You be the one that makes the ripples (in the pond of conciousness). You be the ripple-makers! And may your ripples of peace, purity, innocence and kindness disrupt their day, not the other way around.
You may know this word “gospel,” such as people “preaching the gospel.” The culture has attached all sorts of meaning to that word, but let us tell you that the original word means “good news.” That’s what Jesus was all about, telling some good news in an era of deep deep darkness and bondage. Women were completely in bondage and the religious and political hierarchies were stifling. But he had some good news. This simple brown-skinned carpenter, a Jewish boy, had something good to say.
We are not talking about faking positivity but being so sure of the God within you. God in You, God in You is the hope of humanity, the hope of glory. You are the doorways, the heavenly portals through which heavenly realities of all manner of good things are manifested in this time and space. It is you! You are the doorway! Do you know what you are bringing? Do you know what you are opening the door to? Is it beauty? Creativity? Healing? Words of Wisdom? Lean into the thing that gives you joy to bring to others. What kinds of good news do you bring? What kind of joy do you bring? How do you bring it? Keep doing that. And lean away from all the others. Lean into the thing your soul brings that lights you up and makes you smile. You see that it transforms the one in front of you. Suddenly they are melting or weeping or maybe laughing, or their countenance is changing, and they are feeling better. Whatever you do that causes that..that ripple, that change, that incense, that fragrance. that perspective shift, keep doing THAT! Get really, really good at it.
